Apps lock.
Exercise unlocks.

Give the apps that eat your day a daily time budget. When it runs out, they lock — and a few push-ups buy them back. Your camera does the counting.

Screen Time data and camera frames stay on your iPhone.

Today screen with minutes earned, locked apps and a weekly bar chart
Today

Your whole day on one screen

Minutes earned, reps done, how much screen time you have actually spent, and how many apps are locked right now. The bar chart underneath is the last seven days, so a bad streak is impossible to miss.

  • Earn more time is one tap away
  • Locked apps counted at a glance

Limited apps

One budget per app

Apps are picked through Apple's own Screen Time sheet, so nothing leaks to us. Each one gets its own daily free minutes and its own price in exercise — ten push-ups for the first app, thirty squats for the one you really cannot put down.

  • Different exercises for different apps
  • Free plan covers one app, lifetime covers all

Workout

The camera does the counting

Lean the phone against something and start. A guide shows the pose from the front, the skeleton confirms you are in frame, and a voice counts every rep out loud. If an app asks for two exercises, they run back to back.

  • Push-up, squat, jumping jack, high knee
  • Frames analysed on device, never recorded

Stats

Proof that it is working

Screen time and workouts sit on the same page across seven days, thirty days or twelve weeks. Watch one line come down while the other climbs — that gap is the whole point of the app.

  • Sweat points broken down by exercise
  • Every session kept in your history

A reason to keep going

Every rep becomes sweat points. There is an overall board and one for each exercise, for today, this week or all time — and they reset at midnight in your own time zone, not somewhere else's.

  • Nickname and avatar are optional
  • Join or leave the ranking whenever you like
How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

Set it up once. After that MoveM only shows up when you have spent your budget.

STEP 01

Choose the apps

Pick them straight from Apple's Screen Time picker and give each one a daily free-time budget — 15 minutes, an hour, whatever is honest.

STEP 02

Time runs out, app locks

MoveM watches the clock in the background. The moment the budget is gone, the app is shielded — open it and you get the MoveM screen instead.

STEP 03

Move to unlock

Prop up the phone, do the reps. The camera counts them in real time and the minutes land back in your budget the second you finish.

Features

Small app. Stubborn about one thing.

Everything here exists to make the trade concrete: screen time costs movement.

Rep counting that actually watches you

Push-ups, squats, jumping jacks and high knees are recognised on-device with Apple's body-pose engine. An on-screen guide shows the pose, a voice counts along, and nothing is recorded or uploaded — the frames never leave your iPhone.

Real Screen Time limits

Built on Apple's Screen Time framework, so the lock holds system-wide — not a reminder you can swipe away.

Stats worth opening

Screen time and workouts on the same page, over 7 days, 30 days or 12 weeks. Watch one line fall as the other climbs.

Sweat points & leaderboards

Every rep converts to sweat points. Compare on the overall board or per exercise, and see the day reset at your own midnight.

A share card, instantly

Finish a session and MoveM builds a card with your exercises, reps and minutes earned. Save it or send it, no editing needed.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Yes — the lock is yours, not a punishment. MoveM is built for people who want the friction, and it also ships an emergency unlock for the moments you genuinely need the app right now.

No. Pose detection runs entirely on your iPhone; frames are never saved or uploaded. Apple's Screen Time framework gives the app usage numbers without ever handing them to us. Only your workout results — exercise, reps, sweat points — are sent, and only so the leaderboard works.

It is off until you turn it on. Your account is anonymous by default; a nickname and avatar are optional, and you can leave the ranking or delete your account and its data from inside the app.

Space to stand or lie down, and somewhere to lean the phone so the front camera can see your whole body. No wearables, no extra gear.

Not yet. MoveM leans on iOS-only Screen Time APIs, so it is iPhone-only for now.

Spend it on movement.
