Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and LevenLab, the independent developer of MoveM ("we", "us"), covering the MoveM iPhone app and this website. By installing or using MoveM you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use MoveM on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify the app except where the law expressly allows it.
2. Your account
The app creates an anonymous account for you so workouts and rankings can sync. Keep your device secure — anyone with access to it has access to your account. You are responsible for any nickname or avatar you upload: it must not be offensive, misleading, or infringe anyone's rights, and we may remove or reset it if it does.
3. How MoveM limits apps
App limits and shielding use Apple's Screen Time frameworks and require your permission. You can change or remove limits, use the in-app emergency unlock, or delete MoveM at any time. MoveM is a self-discipline tool, not a parental-control or security product, and it cannot guarantee that a determined user (including you) will not find a way around a limit.
4. Purchases
MoveM is free to use with one limited app. The lifetime unlock is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase — there is no subscription and nothing renews. Payment is charged to your Apple Account and the purchase is tied to it; you can restore it on your other devices from within the app.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service, not by us. If a purchase does not unlock correctly, contact us and we will help you sort it out.
5. Health and safety
Exercise carries risk. MoveM is not a medical service and gives no medical advice. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise programme, especially if you are pregnant, injured, or have a heart or joint condition. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
Work out in a clear space where you cannot hit walls, furniture or other people, and make sure your phone is placed so it cannot fall. You are solely responsible for exercising safely, and for any injury or damage that occurs while using the app.
6. Rep counting is an estimate
Counting depends on lighting, camera angle and how you move. Counts may be missed or over-counted; earned minutes follow from those counts. We do not warrant that counting is accurate, and it should not be used for medical, fitness-assessment or competitive purposes beyond the in-app leaderboards.
7. Fair play
The leaderboard only works if results are real. Do not automate, fake or manipulate workout data, or attempt to submit results through anything other than the app. We may reject implausible results, remove entries, reset a profile, or disable an account that abuses the rankings.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features, and server-backed features such as leaderboards may be interrupted or withdrawn. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice where practical. The app's core on-device functions are designed to keep working without our servers.
9. Intellectual property
MoveM, its name, logo, design, illustrations and code belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Workout data you generate remains yours; by joining the leaderboard you allow us to display your nickname, avatar and score to other users.
10. Disclaimer and liability
MoveM is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for lost data, or for any harm arising from exercising. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using MoveM at any time by deleting the app, and you can delete your account and data from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
12. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for MoveM. Apple is, however, a third-party beneficiary and may enforce these terms against you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use MoveM after a change means you accept the revised terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the mainland of the People's Republic of China, where the developer is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in your local courts where the law allows it.
